Following the devastating 7.7 magnitude earthquake in Burma that struck on Friday, March 28, we are calling on the international community to swifty and thoughtfully respond. Though local rescue workers are only beginning to survey the wreckage, it is evident that the damage is catastrophic and robust assistance must be provided immediately. It is critical for donor governments to ensure that relief money is used efficiently to support the immediate and reconstruction needs of the victims.
